Open Lecture COST Action COREnet: Knowledge about religion—where from and what for?

In the medical field of professional practice, dealing with religious patients can give rise to specific questions. However, religion does not typically play a role in the training of medical staff. This lecture raises the question of whether and how specific knowledge about religion could be useful in professional education at a secular university. We will discuss practical examples within the context of the broader question of religion in society.
