WBU Students Join Amazon’s University Engagement Program

Western Balkans University is proud to announce that a group of our talented students are actively participating in the Mentorship Phase of the University Engagement Program, a global initiative by Amazon aimed at empowering the next generation of tech innovators.

The program spans 9 weeks (from mid-July to mid-August) and is designed to align with university calendars. During this time, students work in teams of 3–5, collaborating virtually with experienced mentors to develop innovative tech solutions.

🔹 Program Structure:

• Weeks 1–2: Focus on design documentation and technology planning

• Weeks 3–7: Implementation phase, including progress reports and MVP development

• Weeks 8–9: Final submissions – complete code, project report, and product demo

The initiative not only sharpens students’ technical and teamwork skills but also opens doors to real-world opportunities. In fact, some standout projects may be invited to join startup accelerators, such as those hosted by the American University of Beirut.

WBU is proud to see our students thrive on international platforms, showcasing their creativity, innovation, and drive for excellence.
